PrivacyTerms

Terms of service

A focused service, with clear limits.

These terms govern use of the private After Hours Appointment Caller notification service.

Effective 31 August 2026

1. Acceptance

By authorising or using the service, the Gmail account owner agrees to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not authorise the service.

2. What the service does

The service monitors an authorised Gmail inbox for configured appointment-related messages and uses Twilio to place a notification call or send an associated message to the designated account owner. Rules, schedules, and message formats may change as the service is improved.

3. Authorised use

You agree to:

  • connect only a Gmail account you are authorised to access;
  • provide only a phone number you control or are authorised to notify;
  • keep account access and recovery methods secure;
  • use the service lawfully and not to harass, mislead, or contact others without consent.

4. Availability and delivery

The service depends on Google, Google Cloud, internet connectivity, telecommunications networks, and Twilio. Calls can be delayed, blocked, unanswered, or fail. The service is provided without a guarantee that every email will be detected or every notification delivered.

5. Not medical or emergency support

The service is an administrative notification aid only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, patient monitoring, or emergency assistance. Do not rely on it where a missed or delayed notification could create an immediate safety risk. For emergencies in Australia, call 000.

6. Charges

Google Cloud, Twilio, telecommunications, and data charges may apply. The account owner is responsible for services and numbers configured in their own accounts and for setting appropriate budgets and usage controls.

7. Suspension and termination

Use may be suspended to protect security, prevent abuse, address a technical failure, or comply with law. The account owner may stop use at any time by revoking Google access and disabling the service.

8. Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by Australian law, the service is provided “as is” and without warranties beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law. Liability is limited only to the extent permitted by law.

9. Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated as the service changes. They are governed by the laws applicable in New South Wales, Australia, without excluding any mandatory consumer protections that otherwise apply.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to the support address shown on the Google OAuth consent screen.
